What I've learned--> Body turning device essential for cleaning.... bedridden older women. I KNEW THAT years ago.... but despite numerous searches on Amazon and calling medical device stores... on occasion... couldn't get anywhere with a proper-medical-service bed. Instead I had to work with what I had, turning her on her right as much as possible, intalling new mat and then turning her on her left, reaching over her toward a wall... I still don't know and cannot understand or visualize how things went wrong.
Yesterday I looked again for devices... and found a few interesting things... but can't find the price... and others are exhorbitant prices... likely not covered by PART B MEDICARE and not accessible with her insurance if she doesn't have an official DOCTOR which she didn't update since 2002... which I tried to get her to do... against odds risking squabbles, and I must have given up. Training a wife-piano-player performer is not an easy task...
